My Journey Continues with The Eat Clean Diet Stripped

I am doing the P90X fitness program while doing The Eat Clean Diet Stripped plan.  Because I’m so set in my ways and I love to use Splenda, Equal or Raw Sugar in my coffee with nonfat cream and I can’t live without my Lite Vanilla Soy Milk and Sargento Reduced Fat Cheese, I thought I would have a difficult time following this 28 day plan from The Eat Clean Diet Stripped book especially since I use some of these items as part of my daily eat clean diet.  However, as the days pass I really don’t miss them much. I’ve gotten accustomed to plain coffee with a little unsweetened Soy Milk and my spinach and egg white omelet without the sprinkle of the reduced fat cheese and it still tastes fine. Another great thing about this plan is that I’m NOT hungry or tired at all because it’s NOT a diet that restricts a particular food group.  All my sacrifices will ALL be worth it in 19 days when I see the results I’m looking for especially while I’m doing the fitness program, P90X.

I’m finishing up my last week of the P90X fitness program and then I’m moving on to the ChaLEAN Extreme fitness program. P90X is an awesome fitness program and women should not be intimidated by it or think they cannot do it.  What is not advertised on the infomercial is that there are three different fitness programs you can choose from with this workout.  There is the Classic fitness program, Lean fitness program and the Doubles version.  The P90X guide book outlines which workouts to do for each of the fitness programs. The majority of the people who do P90X follow the Classic workout but a lot of women follow the Lean fitness program which includes an extra day of  cardio and one less day of resistance training.

I have come a long way since I started the P90X fitness program on January 3rd.  I’m wearing spring outfits I haven’t worn in a long time.  The one thing I do regret is that I didn’t start over after getting really sick and not being able to workout for three weeks. It is suggested that if you miss too many workouts to start over. Otherwise, I’m sure I would have seen the results I wanted to see.  But I’m not unhappy with where I am and I know that I really don’t have too far to go.

The next fitness program I will start next week will be ChaLEAN Extreme.  I don’t need to lose up to 60% of my body fat but if those are the results people are seeing on this fitness program then I AM READY TO BRING IT. I have a new Facebook friend who I met on the ChaLEAN Extreme page who is going to join me on the ChaLEAN Extreme fitness program. You can too! Get your copy today!

I love that you took on an accountability partner through this. I wish I had done so much sooner. My fall schedule has been really hectic in the evenings, basically eliminating my ability to get a workout in during that time. My saving grace has been taking up running in the morning. Luckily, I found an accountability partner who goes running with me each morning and, although I never dreamed at 36 I’d start getting up at 5:30 each morning to exercise, it’s that accountability that has kept me going and I’m able to start my day 2 hours earlier than I have basically my entire adult life.

I agree! Getting up early does make a difference. I was so good at it once before but now I’ve been lazy and doing my workouts in the evening. I just found that it was hard to get through my day after a difficult workout like Speed and Agility or Vertical Plyo. Those workouts would wipe me out and I was just sore and beat up during the day. Its easier to get up and do P90X in the morning and do my cardio at night. As long as I get it in, then that’s all that matters! Thanks for the comment
