Eat Clean & Lose Weight Fast

Diet is important for successful weight loss. Some people are bothered by the word “diet” because it has a negative connotation. People automatically start to think about what they CANNOT eat. The Eat Clean Diet is not a “diet” but a lifestyle and helps you to lose weight fast and keep it off.

People who have lost weight will tell you that their diet contributed to their success. When you decide to make adjustments to your diet it is a complete lifestyle change. It’s not something you can do overnight. It’s something you incorporate into your lifestyle until it becomes second nature.  So that’s the way I approach it.  I am not good at following a day to day diet but I do refer to various plans or books to get ideas on healthy food recipes like The Abs Diet book because of the great protein shake recipes.

My favorite book is The Eat Clean Diet: Fast Weight Loss That Lasts Forever by Tosca Reno, mom turned fitness model after 40.  Not only is her line of Eat Clean books great but she has an awesome, successful weight loss story that’s very inspiring.  So if you’re looking for guidance on how to get started changing your diet, I highly recommend this book by Tosca Reno as well as her other books.

What I like about her first book, The Eat Clean Diet, is that it really isn’t a typical “diet” book. It’s a lifestyle change that allows you to lose weight fast and keep it off.  It exposes the truth about long term fat loss without starving yourself, counting calories and carbs or weight loss gimmicks.   It explains how eating clean increases your metabolism which burns fat and increases weight loss and provides your body with natural defenses against heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

Regardless of your diet needs, The Eat Clean Diet book is perfect for all diet concerns.  There is a meal plan for gluten free eating and vegetarian diets.  There is also a chapter dedicated to eating clean for men as well as eating clean for children.  Busy moms and wives can introduce clean eating habits to the entire family using The Eat Clean Diet book.

Once you read this book you’ll become a true fan of Tosca Reno. Besides writing books, she also writes a monthly column in Oxygen Magazine where she provides diet and exercise advice as well as tasty and healthy recipes.

Please do! This is where I started years ago when I decided to take my diet and workout more serious. I think its a great starting point for all people new to the “eat clean” concept and also help them to be successful on the nutrition plans that come w/the Beachbody products. I recommend it to my Coaching clients all the time.

Diet is so important and often not taken seriously. I do like to refer to eating clean as a lifestyle like you mentioned. I think most people hate the word diet. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re all human and struggle with this aspect of our fitness. However, like they say abs are created in the kitchen not the gym!

This is one of my greatest challenges, but also the most rewarding one! I’ve gone clean, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free. I am amazed at how much better I feel and how those things have messed me up for my entire life! Clean eating is a must if you want to be truly healthy! Thanks for the post!

Yep, sticking to a clean eating plan is a challenge. But its a lifestyle change that I’m really glad that I started years ago. When I really want to maximize my results I do take away the dairy, bread, sweeteners for a month now that I’ve read that it gets you over that plateau. It’s not the way I normally eat day to day because I love my wraps and I cant imagine life without my homemade grilled chicken spinach wrap.
